Repository of Arthropod Vectors of Italy (RAVIT)

RAV-IT is a non-profit repository whose goal is to enhance resource sharing for research on arthropod vectors in Italy.

RAV-IT was built within the the PRIN2020 Project MOSQ-IT and INF-ACT, a project funded in the framework of NextGeneration EU-MUR PNRR Extended Partnership initiative on Emerging Infectious Diseases (Project no. PE00000007).

RAV-IT offers amatour entomologists and the scientific community an opportunity to participate in building this resource by depositing material. Depositing samples in RAV-IT involves filling-in the registration form and signing a Deposition Form to indicate your desired distribution and ownership rights for the material as well as any background scientific information.

Deposition of samples in RAV-IT can foster prospective and retrospective studies and:

1. promotes access and exchange of material
2. protects intellectual property of the depositor
3. ensures secure storage of samples at Italian academic institutions
